The Orbeez are tiny wireless devices that add a new dimension to any wireless setup, and there are many different types of Orbeez colors and patterns to choose from. The biggest selling feature of the Orbeez is their portability, since you can easily carry them around in your purse or backpack.
In order to compare the Orbeez vs Pro 6 mesh wifi routers we needed to take a closer look at the Orbeez, and see what their strengths were and their limitations as well. The Orbeez are quite tiny, which makes it easy for them to be added to a mesh network in a way that uses the existing wiring already available. This makes the Orbeez an ideal addition to a home network, as they are so easy to setup, and their low cost makes them practical for most households.
The Orbeez makes a wonderful gift too, and the Orbeez RCroid has some unique features that make it easier to add the Orbeez into your existing wireless setup. The Orbeez setup in our household was achieved using three separate methods. The first method involved attaching three Orbeez balloons to an existing air mast in our front yard. We had to find a location that would receive a good signal from the farthest point we were willing to anchor to, and set the Orbeez up there. Once they were in place, we hung them up in a tree near our house, and periodically replaced them by sending them into the air using the Amazon Echo Dot. We found that the farthest point we were able to anchor to was an antenna attached to an older school bus, so we moved the setup to a newer school bus, and the Orbeez setup worked perfectly.
Another way to setup the Orbeez was through the Orbeez manufacturer's application called Orbeez Snapshot. This is a stand alone app that allows you to create and store your own Orbeez cloud. Once you have this cloud, you can send it to other Orbeez holders in your neighborhood who also have Orbeez. Each Orbeez holder is equipped with a micro processor that interacts with the mesh over USB. When you insert a device into the holder, the mesh network searches for coordinates stored in your Orbeez cloud and displays them on your screen.
Finally, we connected the Orbeez to an Amazon Echo Dot and set up a Wi-Fi system by turning on the Amazon Kindle Fire. The Kindle turned on, and began searching for a nearby Orbeez holder using the nearby Wi-Fi connection from our house. When it found a compatible cloud, it displayed the coordinates on the screen and our wireless router showed us a confirmation that the data was successfully transferred. That was our proof that the Amazon's new program worked!
We successfully set up and configured our Orbeez in just a few minutes. Setting up the mesh WiFi network was relatively easy, although it did take a little time to find an appropriate compatible model. We were able to find several models of Orbeez and setup wireless connections quickly and easily. Setting up the Orbeez in our home required only a few minutes of tinkering and our Wi-Fi connection was set up perfectly.
As we continued to use the Orbeez, we started to see some really great results. The Orbeez provided us with faster speeds and the quality of the graphics improved greatly as well. We've also been able to set up multiple connections and have used the Orbeez for a year now, and haven't noticed a degradation in performance. Overall, the mesh wireless network is great for kids and adults alike - you can play games, surf the net, and enjoy all of this without worrying about constantly interrupting other people.
